Our youngest actors begin their journey here — learning to trust their voices, bodies, and imaginations in a playful, supportive space.
This class focuses on building confidence, focus, and foundational acting skills through storytelling, movement, sensory play, and relaxation. As many of our students are still learning to read, we focus on listening, eye contact, responding in the moment, and using their imagination to connect to character and story.
It’s the perfect introduction to performance — fun, empowering, and designed to prepare them for the next stage of their acting journey.
In this age group, students begin to explore what it truly means to "live the life" of another person. Through age-appropriate scripts from film and television, students learn how to personalize their roles using both imagination and real-life experience.
They’re introduced to fundamental tools such as script analysis, character objectives, motivations, and improvisation— all within a fun and creative class environment. Whether they’re playing a scene from a sitcom or diving into a dramatic moment, students begin developing the emotional depth and awareness needed to bring a character to life.
Our Robbies class deepens the focus on truthful performance, self-awareness, and instinctual response.
Through cold reading, script breakdowns, improvisation, and character work, students build the confidence to stay present, make bold choices, and connect authentically in their performances. We explore how to set clear objectives, understand behaviour, and trust themselves and their scene partners.
The goal at this level is to help students feel comfortable in their own skin, develop focus and relaxation, and begin working with greater emotional honesty.
This senior class builds on everything learned in Robbies — adding depth, detail, and technical skill to the student’s performance toolkit.
We focus on in-depth script analysis, listening and responding with truth, emotional connection, improvisation, and memorization techniques. Students work with more complex material, refining their craft and learning how to bring nuance to their performances.
There’s also a strong emphasis on audition technique, including cold reading mastery and on-camera presence. Respect for one another — both physically and emotionally — is central to the culture of this class, creating a safe space for students to take creative risks and grow.
