What We Teach at Indigo Kids
At Indigo Kids, our focus is on Screen Acting — giving young performers the specific tools they need to feel confident and capable in front of the camera.
Our students learn by doing: working with real scripts from film and television, practicing on-camera scenes, and becoming familiar with the language and structure of a professional set. Whether rehearsing a monologue in an audition-style setting or filming a scene created on a student-designed set, they’re gaining hands-on experience in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment.

We carefully match each student with age-appropriate material that challenges and supports their growth. Scripts may come from professional film and TV productions, or be specially designed for training purposes — all selected to build skill, confidence, and creativity.
Small Class Sizes, Big Growth
We keep our class sizes intentionally small so each child receives the individual attention they need to thrive. Class groupings may vary depending on age, ability, and enrollment numbers — but every class is built to support the developmental needs of the students in it.
A Safe Space to Explore
Our classroom is a private and protected space where students are encouraged to take creative risks and explore without fear of judgement. For that reason, we don’t allow visitors to observe classes during the term.
Instead, at the end of Term 4, families are invited to attend our final class of the year — where students perform and film their final scene. It’s a special opportunity to see how far they’ve come, and to celebrate the growth, talent, and courage they’ve developed throughout the year.
